The meat in my guitars come from quality woods, careful alignment, quality pickups, proven circuitry, playable artistic design and balance. I am both an artist and guitarist who offers creativity and the sound you enjoy.
Quality woods means wood that is solid and produces great tone.
Species is important in the body but exotic woods are often not advantageous. My goal is to preserve rare hard woods for best use such as inlay, striker, string tree, the neck and fret board.
My woods come from all around the world. Maple, Walnut, Ash, Poplar and many other fine woods are available domesticly. I prefer imported woods for some necks and most fret boards.
There are many sources of hard wood supply. From your lumber dealer to specialty dealers you may be able to order. I source the woods (with conservation a goal) for you and fit best use to best price.
Temperature, humidity, wear, force all affect your guitar performantce. That is why I select each piece carefully for appearance, tone quality and strength.
